Family Session Details

1. Let's chat and book you in

Once you're booked in, first we will discuss the details of your session. This also gives us a chance to get to know each other a little before the shoot. We chat over the phone or just over email, whatever is more comfortable for you. You can let me know if you have any questions, tell me about your family, how old your kids are, any family dynamics, a couple things that your kids are into, anything that will help me get the best shots for you and your family. I will also go over what you will expect during and after your session with me.

2. The session

Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled an hour before sunset to capture beautiful, soft sunset light. I will take a variety of different shots during our time together, including photos of everyone together, as well as individual shots of kids and parents. I will provide guidance on posing when needed to help you look your best. Family sessions can be as quick as 30 minutes, or if we need more time, they can up to an hour.

3. Choose your favourites

A day or so after the session takes place, I will send the unedited proofing gallery for you to select your favourite images. The images in the proofing gallery that you see right after the session will be unedited. Once you have selected the images you'd like, it will take me about two weeks to edit. I will then send the final gallery via a private online gallery.  All photos are delivered as digital images for downlown.
