Maternity Session Details

Maternity sessions are typically booked at around 30-34 weeks pregnant. We want to see your round belly but don't want you to feel uncomfortable! Once you're booked in, first we will discuss the details of your session. This also gives us a chance to get to know each other a little before the shoot. We chat over the phone or just over email, whatever is more comfortable for you. You can let me know if you have any questions, tell me about your family, if there's a certain dress you'd like to borrow, any shots you'd love to capture, etc. I will also go over what you will expect during and after your session with me.

Maternity sessions are typically around 1.5 hours. It all depends on how mama is feeling! I will take a variety of different shots during our time together, photos of just you and your belly, if you have any other children we can get family together, you and your partner (if applicable) and anything else you'd like. I will give guidance when needed on posing to help you look your best. 

A day or so after the session takes place I will send the unedited proofing gallery for you to pick your digital file collection. The images in the proofing gallery you see right after the session will be unedited. Once you have selected the collection you'd like, it will take me about 2 weeks to edit. I will then send the downloadable final gallery via a private online gallery. Once I have sent the gallery, you will then have the opportunity to purchase prints, and wall art from my preferred vendor.
