Just booked a Newborn Photoshoot and not sure what to wear? Here are 7 tips to help you look your best for your newborn photoshoot!
1. Wear neutral, white, black or pastel colours
The focus of the session is all about your beautiful new baby. Bold colours can be distracting.
2. Avoid clothing with logos or graphics
Eyes will be drawn to words or graphics on clothing. It's best to avoid them for these types of photo sessions.
3. No big patterns or stripes
Patterns and stripes can make the image look busy. Best to pick clothing with a solid colour.
4. Wear clothes that won't wrinkle easily
Wrinkly clothes will give the image an unkept look. We want the photos to look neat and tidy.
5. Dress comfortably
It's best to wear clothing that you feel great in. Pick a top that you won't need to adjust and readjust during the photo session.
6. Your shoes won't be in the shot
No need to worry about shoes. Newborn and family images are usually taken from the midsection and up.
7. Trim your nails and remove nail polish
Your hands will likely be holding tiny fingers and toes, make sure you have clean hands and nails
